Intro Day A walk through the valley bottom from the traditional village of Scheffau through to it’s larger neighbour Söll. The walk takes us along the river towards the picturesque “Moorsee” a small lake used for fishing and swimming in good weather. The best way to get acclimatised and ease your muscles in gently. Once we arrive in Söll a chance to discover the village and it´s church, have some lunch or a snack and relax. The return walk to Scheffau will take a slightly different route. Day 2 - Kitzbühel
We travel to Kitzbühel today to take the mountain cable way to summit
of the Kitzbüheler Horn (1996m), we will have plenty time to look
around the Alpine Flower garden, flowers in bloom are dependant on season.
Then we will meander our way down the mountain with a stop for lunch
and plenty time to take in the views of the surrounding area.
Timing: 4 - 5

Day 3 - Wildschönau Today we make our way to the Wildschönau (the wild beautiful valley) where we will make our way to the Möselalm ‘gipfelkreuz’ which overlooks the Inn valley towards Innsbruck. This days walking has a combination of forest and open pasture tracks. There is a lunch stop in a traditional ‘alm’ that serves Tirolean home made specialities. Timing: 4 - 4.5 hours (9kms) 300m ascent and descent |
Day 4 – Westendorf
Our destination today is the beautiful resort of Westendorf, where we
will take the mountain cable way to the ‘Choralpe’ (1840m)
where we can then walk to the summit (1860m) for some truly fantastic
views.
Then we head to the Brechornhaus which serves mouth watering
specialities to tempt your tastebuds before we head back to the village
via mountain
paths and pasture land.
Timing: 5 - 5.5 hours (8kms)
150m ascent and 1000m descent
